They perform cataract surgeries, present case\nstudies, and provide care using traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to\npatients. From 2015 to the end of 2025, 11 groups comprising 2,417\nmedical specialists have been sent to Xizang as part of China\u2019s\nmedical-aid program for the plateau region. Under the mentoring\nagreements signed between the providing hospital and the recipient\nhospital, the mentorship-based working mechanism has been fully\nimplemented, enabling the specialists to transfer their skills and\nexperience.
