        "content": "<p>Media told not to offend Muslims<\/p>\n<p>THAILAND: The army chief has urged presenters on the more than<br>\n200 army-owned radio and television networks in Thailand to avoid<br>\nusing words abusive to Muslims, an army spokesman said in Bangkok<br>\non Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Thailand&apos;s Muslim minority are upset about terms such as<br>\n&quot;Muslim terrorist&quot; or &quot;Muslim bandit&quot; used in the extensive<br>\ncoverage of the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States and the<br>\nmilitary strikes against Afghanistan, said Col. Somkuan<br>\nSaengpattaranetr, the army spokesman.<\/p>\n<p>Army commander Gen. Surayud Chulanont heard the concerns of<br>\nMuslim leaders about media content in a weekend meeting in<br>\nsouthern Thailand, where most of the minority live.
