Head of the Medan Tourism Department, Odi Batubara, stated on\nFriday that the annual municipal event will take place from 27 to 30\nJune 2026. \u201cThis activity will be attended by various countries and will\nbe held over four days,\u201d he said. He noted that the event, which will be\nattended by six friendly nations, will feature a series of activities\nand performances by delegates from various countries. \u201cThis activity\nalso aims to strengthen the dignity and identity of the Malay ethnic\ngroup through cultural arts activities,\u201d he said. According to him, the\nevent also serves as a means to familiarise Malay culture with non-Malay\ncommunities, both locally, nationally, and internationally.
