But, learning from experience of the last few years, <br>\nthe demand for pork will soar,\" the company's president director <br>\nLiliansari Loedin said.<\/p>\n<p>She said her company would continue to slaughter 2,000 head of <br>\ncattle every day as normal.<\/p>\n<p>\"But, we will increase the slaughter of pigs to 1,000 per day <br>\nthree days before Christmas until the New Year, higher than the <br>\n400 to 500 pigs currently,\" she said.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from pigs and cattle, Jakarta also consumes 300 goats <br>\nevery day. -- JP<\/p>",
