Rachmadi said over the weekend<br>\nthe crisis had resulted in the declining purchasing power of<br>\nlocal consumers and the rupiah's sharp depreciation tripled<br>\nprices of its imported raw materials.<\/p>\n<p>Six of its outlets were destroyed in massive riots which hit<br>\nthe country in May.<\/p>\n<p>\"We have had to temporarily close those outlets otherwise we<br>\nwill suffer a greater loss. We will open those outlets again if<br>\nthe economic condition recovers,\" Bambang said.<\/p>\n<p>He declined to reveal the amount of the losses.<\/p>\n<p>Bambang said McDonald's had raised the prices of its products<br>\nbetween 10 percent and 15 percent to adjust to the increase in<br>\nimported raw materials.
