        "content": "<p>Maxim says the implementation of a maximum app commission of 8\npercent has had a positive impact on online motorcycle taxi (ojol)\ndriver partners by increasing the share of income they receive from each\ntrip order.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the various feedback we have received, driver partners feel an\nincrease in income after the 8 percent app commission came into effect,\u201d\nsaid Maxim Indonesia Development Director Dirhamsyah in a statement to\nANTARA in Jakarta on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Presidential Regulation No.\u00a027 of 2026 on the Protection of Online\nTransport Workers now stipulates that the income share for ojol drivers\nrises to 92 percent, with the app operator receiving a maximum of 8\npercent.<\/p>\n<p>Dirhamsyah added that the 92:8 commission split also makes the income\ndistribution between the app operator and driver partners more balanced\nwhile still prioritising the sustainability of the online transport\nservice ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Dirhamsyah explained that the increase in income can also be a factor\nencouraging driver partners to be more active in accepting orders.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the 8 percent app commission applied by Maxim,\ncombined with good performance and service from driver partners, opens\nup opportunities to obtain more orders and income.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 8 percent app commission that Maxim has implemented, accompanied\nby excellent performance and service from driver partners, certainly\nopens up greater opportunities for driver partners to get orders and\nhigher earnings,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The increase in income also encourages driver partners to improve the\nquality of their service, such as being more responsive to passenger\nneeds and paying attention to their performance when carrying out\nactivities on the platform.<\/p>\n<p>Dirhamsyah said Maxim will continue to receive and evaluate feedback\nfrom driver partners as part of efforts to improve services.<\/p>\n<p>The company is also committed to maintaining service standards amid\nthe implementation of the new policy and to developing a more effective\norder distribution system to reduce waiting times and provide more\noptimal income opportunities for both drivers and the platform.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will continue to gather feedback and conduct regular evaluations\nto ensure this policy provides optimal benefits for driver partners,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>",
