        "content": "<p>Mataram \u2014 The Mataram City Police Resort in West Nusa Tenggara has\ndeployed approximately 850 personnel to secure the Ogoh-ogoh parade,\nwhich forms part of the Nyepi New Year Saka 1948 celebrations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the Ogoh-ogoh parade, we have deployed roughly 850 personnel.\nThis is a combined force from the military and several government\nagencies,\u201d said Head of the Traffic Unit of Mataram City Police Resort\nAKP Muhammad Puteh in Mataram on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that of the 850 personnel, Mataram City Police Resort\nhas deployed 350 personnel from various units, including mobile\nbrigades, criminal investigation, intelligence, and traffic divisions.\nAdditionally, there are 250 personnel from the West Nusa Tenggara\nProvincial Police Headquarters on loan. The military has contributed 90\npersonnel, with the remainder from other relevant agencies.<\/p>\n<p>Several personnel have been assigned to embedded duties within the\nparade procession. \u201cTraffic management and route diversion tasks have\nbeen distributed. We also have intelligence and criminal investigation\npersonnel deployed for early detection and prevention,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Gregorian calendar, the Nyepi New Year Saka 1948\ncelebrations fall on Thursday (19 March), with the Ogoh-ogoh parade\ntaking place the previous day on Wednesday (18 March).<\/p>\n<p>Based on a meeting held at the Mataram City Government involving the\nForum for Religious Harmony (FKUB) Mataram, the Ogoh-ogoh parade will\ntake place along Pejanggik Road. In response to the parade route,\nMataram City Police Resort has prepared traffic management and diversion\nmeasures.<\/p>\n<p>This includes closing vehicle lanes along Pejanggik Road from the\nIslamic Centre junction through to Mayura Park.<\/p>",
