        "content": "<p>A man with the initials TAS (34) has been arrested by police after\nbreaking into and looting several tools from a car workshop in the\nUdayana area, Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). TAS entered the\nworkshop by damaging the door cover.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief of Selaparang Police, Iptu Zulharman Lutfi, revealed that\nthe theft occurred on Thursday (28\/5). According to him, TAS fled with\nseveral pieces of equipment, resulting in losses of up to Rp 5 million\nfor the workshop owner.<\/p>\n<p>Upon receiving the report, the police immediately conducted a crime\nscene investigation and interviewed witnesses. \u201cThe team eventually\nsucceeded in identifying and tracking the location of the suspect,\u201d\nLutfi stated on Tuesday (2\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Lutfi further noted that TAS was arrested in the Ampenan area on\nMonday (1\/6) afternoon. In addition to detaining TAS, the police also\nseized several pieces of evidence, including pulleys and iron stolen by\nthe suspect.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe suspect is currently undergoing intensive interrogation by\ninvestigators,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>For his actions, TAS faces charges under Article 476 of Law Number 1\nof 2023 regarding the Criminal Code concerning the crime of theft. \u201cThe\nmaximum penalty is five years in prison,\u201d concluded Lutfi.<\/p>",
