        "content": "<p>Matahari to enter Yemen<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Publicly listed retailer Matahari Group said<br>\nlast week it would expand its business to Yemen.<\/p>\n<p>Matahari's chairman Hari Darmawan said the company would<br>\ncooperate with the local Shoumaela Group to facilitate the move<br>\ninto Yemen.<\/p>\n<p>\"Shoumaela has prepared a 2,000 square meter building to be<br>\nused for the permanent exhibition of Matahari products, which<br>\nlater could be used as a wholesale center for Yemen businesses<br>\nwanting to sell our products,\" he told Antara in Yemen's capital,<br>\nSana'a.<\/p>\n<p>Matahari products to be displayed in Sana'a would include<br>\nclothes, shoes, toys, foods and household appliances, he said.<\/p>\n<p>In the long-term, Matahari would establish its business in the<br>\nfree trade zone area of Aden for entry into the North African<br>\nmarket, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Matahari currently operates 73 stores nationwide.
