On<br>\nFeb. 17, he was dismissed along with 12 of his colleagues without<br>\nany clear reason or severance pay. These people had worked, on<br>\naverage, more than ten years for the company.<\/p>\n<p>I am deeply concerned about the matter because while the<br>\nMinister of Manpower is working to raise the welfare of workers,<br>\nsome employers are degrading the labor laws by dismissing their<br>\nworkers and thereby creating more unemployment.<\/p>\n<p>The authorities are advised to investigate the case because<br>\nthe former employees of PT Kemala Paripurna have not received<br>\ntheir severance money or been given certificates of past<br>\nemployment.<\/p>\n<p>Name and address withheld<\/p>",
