        "content": "<p>Maspion to launch IPO<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Electronic and household goods producer PT Maspion<br>\nplans to sell 25 percent of its shares through an initial public<br>\noffering (IPO) next year.<\/p>\n<p>The company said on Tuesday that it had also planned to issue<br>\nRp 500 billion (US$60.2 million) worth of bonds next month,<br>\nmainly to refinance Rp 318 billion in debts.<\/p>\n<p>The bonds will have a fixed rate of between 13.25 percent and<br>\n13.75 percent with a maturity period of five years. The bonds had<br>\nearned an A rating from local rating company PT Pefindo.<\/p>\n<p>The company had appointed PT Danareksa Sekuritas as the<br>\nunderwriter for the bonds offering.<\/p>\n<p>Maspion recorded a drop of Rp 1.8 trillion in 2002 sales from<br>\nRp 2 trillion in 2002. -- JP<\/p>",
