        "content": "<p>MAS warns to sell Airbus<\/p>\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR (Reuter): Malaysian Airline System Bhd (MAS),<br>\npeeved with France for not granting it more flights to Paris,<br>\nthreatened yesterday to drop planes manufactured by Airbus<br>\nIndustrie from its fleet.<\/p>\n<p>\"We have bought a lot of aircraft from France but we did not<br>\nget any extra flights,\" MAS chairman Tajudin Ramli told<br>\nreporters.<\/p>\n<p>\"It's not good enough to fly to Paris twice a week. We want to<br>\ngo twice a day to Paris,\" he said. \"If we get the right price,<br>\nwe'll sell off all our Airbus.\"<\/p>\n<p>MAS bought 10 Airbus A330s from the Toulouse, France-based<br>\nEuropean aircraft consortium last year under a US$550 million<br>\ndeal.<\/p>\n<p>The French stake in the consortium is represented by state-<br>\nowned Aerospatiale. Other members are British Aerospace Plc,<br>\nGermany's Daimler-Benz Aerospace and Casa of Spain.<\/p>\n<p>Tajudin said MAS has been requesting additional flights to<br>\nParis since signing the purchase order with Airbus \"but the<br>\nFrench government has not responded to our request\".<\/p>",
