        "content": "<p>Marzuki in Lippo Net plans<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT Asuransi Lippo Life Tbk announced on Monday<br>\nthe appointment of former minister Marzuki Usman as its deputy<br>\nchairman to boost its e-commerce business.<\/p>\n<p>Company chairman Billy Sindoro said in a statement on Monday<br>\nthat Marzuki brought with him considerable experience in<br>\neconomic, banking, financial and insurance affairs. Marzuki is a<br>\nformer minister of investment, tourism, arts and culture.<\/p>\n<p>Lippo Life announced last week plans to become Indonesia's<br>\nleading Internet business outlet, allocating Rp 1 trillion<br>\n(US$142 million) for the project.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the investment is earmarked for developing computer<br>\ninfrastructure and hiring information technology professionals.<\/p>\n<p>The business will cover Internet insurance brokerage, banking,<br>\nsecurities brokerage, Internet shopping and provision of Internet<br>\ninfrastructure.
