        "content": "<p>Marriott to erase dress code tip<\/p>\n<p>BANGKOK (Reuters): U.S.-based hotel chain Marriott<br>\nInternational Inc said on Friday it would delete a dress code tip<br>\non its Web site which links women wearing blouses and shorts in<br>\nThailand to prostitutes.<\/p>\n<p>One of the pages in the www.marriot.com site advising the<br>\ndress code in Thailand says: &quot;No Thai men wear shorts. Among<br>\nwomen, only prostitutes wear sleeveless blouses and\/or shorts.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Paveena Hongsakul, member of parliament of an opposition<br>\nparty, said the comment was an affront to Thai women and she<br>\nwould submit a letter urging the hotel to apologize and change<br>\nthe message.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;This is unacceptable. They&apos;ve made it sounds like all Thai<br>\nwomen are prostitutes. They must change the wording and make an<br>\napology,&quot; Paveena said.<\/p>\n<p>Jeff Crowe, marketing director of the J.W. Marriott Hotel in<br>\nBangkok, said the hotel was sorry about what happened and would<br>\nchange the content &quot;as quickly as possible&quot;.<\/p>",
