        "content": "<p>Marlev and Rony in Swiss Open quarters<\/p>\n<p>The Jakarta Post, Jakarta<\/p>\n<p>Indonesia has two shuttlers still in the men's singles of the<br>\nthree-star Swiss Open, with Marlev Mainaky and Rony Agustinus<br>\nmaking their way to the quarterfinals on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n<p>Seeded first in the event, Marlev did not find it too<br>\ndifficult to quell Colin Haughton of England with a 7-3, 7-5, 7-2<br>\nvictory at Basel's St. Jakobshalle.<\/p>\n<p>Marlev is slated to have his quarterfinal match against Anders<br>\nBoesen of Denmark later on Friday evening. Boesen also cruised<br>\neasily to a win of 7-3, 7-5, 7-5 against German Bjorn Joppin.<\/p>\n<p>In the lower leg, Rony made a major upset after defeating<br>\nsecond seed Lee Hyun-il of South Korea in another easy match<br>\nending 7-4, 7-2, 7-1.<\/p>\n<p>Rony's opponent in the quarterfinals will be Oedum Kasper of<br>\nDenmark who beat Malaysian Nathan Ramesh 7-3, 7-1, 2-7, 7-5.<\/p>\n<p>The other quarterfinal match will pit Ng Wei of Hong Kong<br>\nagainst Dicky Palyama of the Netherlands. Malaysia secured a<br>\nsemifinals berth when Ayob Sairul Amar met James Chua.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile in the men's doubles, Indonesia only managed to<br>\nproduce one quarterfinalist from three pairs participating in the<br>\nevent.<\/p>\n<p>Bambang Suprianto and Sigit Budiarto defeated Simon Archer and<br>\nGraham Durrel 7-5, 7-4, 3-7, 7-1 to face second seeds Michal<br>\nLogosz and Robert Mateusiak from Poland who earlier beat South<br>\nMalaysian pair Jeremy Gan and Ng Kean Kok with a 7-0, 7-1, 5-7,<br>\n7-3.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesian head coach Christian Hadinata decided to remix two<br>\nof his three men's doubles pairs for the Swiss Open.<\/p>\n<p>Sigit usually teams up with Candra Wijaya, while Bambang often<br>\npartners with Tri Kusheryanto.
