        "content": "<p>Maritime mission leaves dock<\/p>\n<p>UJUNGPANDANG, South Sulawesi: A goodwill mission involving 165<br>\nteenagers on two training vessels, the KRI Dewaruci and the KRI<br>\nArung Samudra, left on Sunday for a 40-day voyage through<br>\nIndonesian territorial waters.<\/p>\n<p>The mission, part of the celebrations commemorating<br>\nInternational Maritime Year '98, will visit Surabaya,<br>\nUjungpandang, Palu and Bitung, Antara reported Monday. They were<br>\nseen off by the vice commander of Ujungpandang Naval Base, Capt.<br>\nSutyasmo.<\/p>\n<p>Among the participants are scouts, students of traditional<br>\nschools and marine high school students from Jakarta, Surabaya<br>\nand Semarang. The group consists of 130 boys and 37 girls.<\/p>\n<p>The celebration's culmination will take place in Manado, North<br>\nSulawesi, from Sept. 26 to Sept. 28.<\/p>\n<p>Various sport competitions, including rowing, water skiing,<br>\ndiving and sailing contests, will highlight the event.<\/p>",
