Marital dispute ends in death<\/p>\n
DENPASAR, Bali: A man was stabbed to death by his wife at
\nGunaksa village, in Klungkung regency, police said on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Bali Police spokesman Asst. Supt. Andi Arwita said Ida, the
\nvictim's wife, is being detained pending investigation results.<\/p>\n
He said Ida and her husband, Mugiman, were involved in a
\nheated argument on Saturday.<\/p>\n
She claimed that she had tried to warn him about his gambling
\nhabit. Angry at her remarks, Mugiman then apparently struck her
\non the neck twice before storming out of the house.<\/p>\n
\"A few hours later her husband, still in a state of anger,
\nreturned to the house. Fearing that something might happen to her
\nand her son, Ida threw a kitchen knife at him,\" Andi said
\nrecounting Ida's testimony.<\/p>\n
The knife pierced deep into Mugiman's left chest.<\/p>\n
Ida and several residents then rushed Mugiman to a nearby
\nhospital but he died on the way.<\/p>\n
Andi said police are still interrogating Ida further as they
\nare still trying to ascertain whether she truly hurled the knife
\nor stabbed her husband, as the knife pierced deeply into the
