        "content": "<p>PT MSIG Life Insurance Indonesia Tbk (MSIG Life) recorded health and\ndeath claims totalling Rp545 billion throughout the first half of 2026.\nThe total claims were dominated by health claims. In detail, Rp433.4\nbillion of claims came from the health segment and Rp111.8 billion from\ndeath claims.<\/p>\n<p>Examining the claims data of individual customers, namely customers\nwho purchase policies in their own names, it was found that 55% of death\nclaims occurred at productive ages, namely 25 to 59 years. The age\ndistribution shows 2% of claims occurred at ages under 25 years, 13% at\nages 25 to 44 years, 42% at ages 45 to 59 years, and the remaining 43%\nat ages 60 years and above.<\/p>\n<p>Director &amp; Chief Operating &amp; IT Officer of MSIG Life, Elly\nSusanti, explained that when a family loses its breadwinner, what they\nneed is certainty, speed, and sufficient benefits to continue the plans\nthey have built over many years. \u201cWe fulfil that promise through claim\npayments, and we maintain it for the long term through a financial\nfoundation, reflected in MSIG Life\u2019s Risk Based Capital ratio of 1,382%,\nfar above the OJK minimum requirement of 120%,\u201d Elly concluded in a\nwritten statement.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of performance, based on its financial report as of June\n2026, MSIG Life recorded net premium income of Rp1.78 trillion and\ninvestment income of Rp80.47 billion. Thus, its total income reached\nRp2.02 trillion.
