        "content": "<p>Mandarin hotel in Surabaya<\/p>\n<p>SURABAYA, East Java (JP): The Hong Kong-based hotel management<br>\nchain, Mandarin Oriental, has opened a five-star hotel called the<br>\nMajapahit Mandarin Oriental Surabaya.<\/p>\n<p>The property, first known as Hotel Majapahit, was constructed<br>\nin 1910. The hotel was reopened by East Java Governor Basofi<br>\nSoedirman on Saturday after undergoing a US$35-million<br>\nrefurbishment program over the last two years.<\/p>\n<p>The 150-room hotel, now 75 percent owned by PT Sekar Group and<br>\n25 percent by Mandarin, is located on Jl. Tunjungan in the center<br>\nof the city.<\/p>\n<p>Majapahit Mandarin Oriental Surabaya is the second hotel<br>\nmanaged by Mandarin in Indonesia after the Mandarin Oriental<br>\nJakarta.
