        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Head of the Integrated Pulo Gebang Terminal\nManagement Unit, Christianto, revealed that the average number of buses\npassing through and departing from the terminal during the Eid al-Fitr\n1447 Hijri\/2026 homecoming flow reached 490 units per day. He explained\nthat this average is based on data from the DKI Jakarta Provincial\nTransportation Agency (Dishub), from H-7 or 13 March until 19 March at\n17:00 WIB. \u201cMeanwhile, for the number of drivers, it is simply\nmultiplied by two, namely nearly 1,000 people, because each bus has at\nleast two drivers,\u201d Christianto said when interviewed by ANTARA in the\ndeparture waiting room of the TTPG on Thursday afternoon. He further\nexplained that not all buses depart from the beginning at Pulo Gebang\nTerminal, so some are counted as passing through to pick up prospective\nhomecomers. Christianto added that his side has carried out various\npreparations to face this year\u2019s Lebaran transportation, through\nstrengthening coordination with a number of stakeholders, such as the\nMinistry of Transportation, the Ministry of Health, and others. Health\nchecks and driver readiness are carried out consistently, he said,\nassisted by medical personnel from the Health Sub-District Office\n(Sudinkes) of the East Jakarta Administrative City. All these steps are\nimportant to ensure the safety and smoothness of the homecoming and\nreturn flow later, including anticipating conditions of drivers who\nexperience fatigue or health disturbances.
