        "content": "<p>The Management Studies Programme of the Faculty of Economics and\nBusiness (FEB) at Universitas Islam Bandung (Unisba) conducted a\nCommunity Service initiative (PKM) in collaboration with Perkumpulan\nPengusaha Karsa Mandiri (PPKM) Bandung Regency, themed \u201cBusiness Ethics\nand Halal Ecosystem for MSME\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The activity took place over two days, 21-22 May 2026, at Unisba\u2019s\ncampus, Jalan Taman Sari Number 1, Bandung. On the first day, the\nactivity began with the signing of a cooperation agreement between both\nparties. Unisba was represented by Indra Fajar Alamsyah, Ph.D., whilst\nPPKM Bandung Regency was represented by Dewi Ayu Wulansari. This\ncooperation constitutes a strategic step in strengthening synergy\nbetween higher education institutions and business actors, particularly\nin encouraging MSME capacity enhancement to enable professional,\nethical, and competitive development.<\/p>\n<p>The first day\u2019s activities continued with presentations on business\nethics by Allya Roosallyn A, M.Si., emphasising the importance of\nhonesty, responsibility, transparency, and compliance in conducting\nbusiness. Additionally, Nadia Meirani, MSM, presented material on\ncooperation agreements, discussing the importance of legal understanding\nfor business partnerships in building healthy, clear, and mutually\nbeneficial business relationships.<\/p>\n<p>On the second day, participants received strengthened material on the\nhalal ecosystem and mentoring related to legal registration and halal\ncertification. This material was presented by Mochamad Malik Akbar\nRohandi, MM., Eka Tresna, MM, Rezi M Taufik, MBA., and Ayu Puspita from\nUP3H Unisba. The discussion aimed to help MSME actors understand the\nimportance of the halal ecosystem and halal certification as part of a\nstrategy to increase consumer trust.<\/p>\n<p>Through this PKM initiative, the Management Studies Programme of FEB\nUnisba hopes that MSME actors within PPKM Bandung Regency will be better\nprepared to face competitive market demands. Strengthening business\nethics, understanding cooperation, business legality, and the halal\necosystem form an important foundation for MSMEs to grow sustainably,\ngain community trust, and achieve a stronger position in the national\nhalal market.<\/p>",
