Management of courts to change: Yusril<\/p>\n
Minister of Justice and Human Rights Yusril Ihza Mahendra said
\non Thursday that management of the country's judicial courts
\nwould be under the authority of the Supreme Court in 2003 to
\navoid duality.<\/p>\n
"If the judicial court is placed under the Supreme Court,
\njudiciary issues will no longer be handled by the Ministry of
\nJustice," Yusril said in Bandarlampung, Lampung, on Thursday
\nevening.<\/p>\n
At present, the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights handles
\nadministrative and financial matters in the courts, while the
\nSupreme Court takes care of other institutional matters.<\/p>\n
Yusril said that the government could not interfere in the
\njudicial court -- comprising the general court, state court and
\nad hoc human rights court -- as it was an independent body.<\/p>\n
"To guarantee no government interference, we need regulations
