JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - JMH, the perpetrator who assaulted three\nemployees at a Pertamina petrol station in Cipinang, Pulogadung, East\nJakarta, was under the influence of alcohol during the incident.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe results of the examination showed that the perpetrator was under\nthe influence of alcohol, in a state of diminished consciousness. Before\narriving at the petrol station, the suspect was already intoxicated,\u201d\nsaid the Head of the East Jakarta Metro Police, Kombes Pol Alfian\nNurrizal, during a press conference on Wednesday (25\/2\/2026).<\/p>\n
In addition, the police also found indications that the perpetrator\nwas using narcotics. This was revealed because the perpetrator\u2019s\nstatements changed during questioning.<\/p>\n
\u201cDuring the interrogation, the answers we received were inconsistent\nand unclear, or as I would say, he kept changing his story,\u201d said\nAlfian.<\/p>\n
For his actions, the perpetrator is charged with Article 466 of the\nCriminal Code and\/or Article 471 of the Criminal Code regarding assault,\nwith a maximum prison sentence of two years and six months.<\/p>\n
Previously, three employees of a Pertamina petrol station in\nCipinang, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, were allegedly assaulted by a\ncustomer while refueling on Sunday (23\/2\/2026) evening.<\/p>\n
The petrol station staff, Mukhlisin (38), explained that the incident\nbegan when the customer wanted to fill up with Pertalite, but the\nvehicle used did not match the data on the barcode.<\/p>\n
\u201cActually, the customer was filling up with Pertalite, and the\nbarcode number was correct, but the car did not match the image\ndisplayed on the EDC (Electronic Data Capture) device. According to the\nrules, the number on the license plate and the car must match the\ninformation on the petrol station\u2019s EDC,\u201d said Mukhlisin.<\/p>\n
According to him, the staff then suggested that the customer fill up\nwith Pertamax according to the standard operating procedure (SOP).\nHowever, the customer became angry.<\/p>\n
