A man identified as Kadek OPS, 31, was stabbed outside his home on\nJalan Soka in Kertalangu, East Denpasar, Denpasar City. The assailant,\nwhose identity is unknown, fled immediately after stabbing him.<\/p>\n
The incident took place at around 1.30am local time on Thursday, 29\nOctober 2026. Police are investigating to identify the perpetrator and\nestablish the motive.<\/p>\n
\u201cRegarding this incident, the East Denpasar Police Criminal\nInvestigation Unit is still conducting an investigation,\u201d Denpasar\nPolice public relations chief Iptu I Gede Adi Saputra Jaya said on\nThursday, 29 October 2026.<\/p>\n
The incident began when the victim got into an altercation with the\nassailant. The victim\u2019s mother, 67-year-old Ni Ketut Sulastri, who was\nat the scene, saw the assailant take out a white knife and stab her\nson.<\/p>\n
The assailant fled after the attack. Sulastri then shouted for help\nand knocked on neighbours\u2019 doors. A driver who was at the scene took the\nvictim to Dharma Yadnya Hospital.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne of the supplier drivers in front of the scene took the victim to\nDharma Yadnya Hospital,\u201d Adi added.<\/p>\n
The victim suffered several injuries, including to the left side of\nhis face, chest, left waist and both hands.<\/p>\n
Adi said the victim was still receiving hospital treatment, so police\nhad not yet been able to take his statement about the incident.<\/p>\n
