Man shot to death in clash<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: A man was shot to death and three other people were
\nseverely injured in a gang shootout on Jl. Kemang IV No. 9 in
\nBangka subdistrict, South Jakarta, on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
The deceased was identified Samsi S Tuasah, 34, an Army's
\nchief sergeant from Bandung. He died from a gunshot wound in the
\nchest and right leg. His body was taken to the Cipto Mangunkusumo
\nCentral Hospital (RSCM)'s morgue in Central Jakarta.<\/p>\n
The three people injured in the violence were identified as
\nHercules, who was shot in the stomach, Syamsuddin, who suffered a
\nsevere cut to his hand, and Supriyadi, a passing biker, who was
\nshot in the face.<\/p>\n
Hercules, notorious as the \"informal thug of Tanah Abang\", was
\ntaken to the Graha Medika Hospital in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta,
\nwhile Supriyadi was taken to RSCM.<\/p>\n
Syamsuddin and Paul, the house owner where the incident
\noccurred, are being detained at the South Jakarta Police precinct
\nfor questioning.<\/p>\n
The police have not given a cause for the fight, but witnesses
\nsaid the two-minute clash began after Paul's house, which was
\nguarded by Hercules' men, was attacked by 10 armed men. The
