Man robbed outside bank<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Menteng Police detectives are searching for two
\nmen who robbed a man outside the Menteng branch of the BNI bank
\non Jl. Cut Meutiah at about 2 p.m. on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Central Jakarta Police chief of detectives Capt. Hendra
\nSuhartiyono identified the victim as Dartam, 35, a customer of
\nthe bank's Menteng branch.<\/p>\n
"The victim just left the bank after he had exchanged his
\nrupiah for US$530 when a man suddenly snatched his bag containing
\nthe dollars and some Rp 1.5 million in cash," Hendra said.<\/p>\n
"The suspect rushed to a waiting RX King motorcycle, which was
\ndriven by an accomplice, and they took off."<\/p>\n
Separately, angry residents of Kadu village in the Sukamulya
\narea of Cikupa, Tangerang, mobbed an alleged motorcycle thief to
\ndeath at about 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
A Tangerang Police source identified the dead suspect as
\nRuslandi, 28, a resident of Jl. Tebet Timur in South Jakarta.<\/p>\n
The motorcycle owner is Yoyo bin Pardi, 25, a resident of
\nSemper village in Cikupa.<\/p>\n
"Yoyo was passing through the area when he was stopped by the
\nsuspect, who was armed with a sharp weapon. The suspect tried to
\npush the victim off the motorcycle," the police source said.<\/p>\n
"The victim screamed for help. Local residents came and mobbed
