Man resurrected after three days<\/p>\n
KUPANG, East Nusa Tenggara (JP): A 76-year-old villager came
\nto life again three days after his relatives pronounced him dead
\nlate November, eyewitnesses said last week.<\/p>\n
The man, Daud Dafa from Tusabela village, western Kupang, had
\nundergone treatment at the Kupang General Hospital for symptoms
\nrelated to old age.<\/p>\n
His son Yohanes Dafa and daughter-in-law Rance, who stayed
\nwith Daud at the hospital, told The Jakarta Post all the
\nrelatives were absolutely sure the elderly man had died.<\/p>\n
\"On the third day, father rose and asked the horrified
\nmourners what was going on. He said in a trembling voice he had
\njust enjoyed a long deep sleep,\" Rance said.<\/p>\n
An eyewitness, Yosef, said many of the mourners preparing for
\nthe funeral were so terrified upon seeing Daud sit up and gaze at
\nthem that they rushed out and fled to their homes<\/p>\n
According to Yohanes, the sick Daud fainted and then died at
\nabout 9 p.m. on Nov. 22. His burial was scheduled for three days
\nafter his \"demise\".<\/p>\n
\"We have left the grave open so that if Father in Heaven calls
\nhim, we don't have to dig it again,\" Yohanes said. (yac\/pan)<\/p>",
