Man nabbed for fathering daughter's son<\/p>\n
BOJONEGORO, East Java: Residents of Kadipaten village in the
\nEast Java town of Bojonegoro have been shocked by the birth of a
\nson to a neighbor and his 17-year-old daughter.<\/p>\n
The scandal surfaced last Friday when neighbors saw 53-year-
\nold Sugeng's daughter carrying a baby on her return from nearby
\nCepu. Sugeng's wife Lastri told her neighbors that her daughter,
\nLis, had given birth after having sex with her husband last year.<\/p>\n
Sugeng was arrested for further investigation after Hardijono,
\nhead of the village, reported the scandal to the local police.<\/p>\n
The suspect, who has six children with Lastri, reportedly
\nconfessed to having sex with his daughter, saying he wanted to
\nhave more children.<\/p>\n
A chronic rheumatic, he said he was frustrated with his four
\nsons because they were unemployed and did not take care of him.
\nHe instead approached Lis while his wife was working their land,
\nwhich she does every day.<\/p>\n
The suspect, who has a furniture business, said he did not
\nwant to make his wife pregnant because she was due to have
\ngynecological surgery at the local hospital.<\/p>\n
Lis admitted to having sex with her father, saying she was not
\nforced or threatened into it, but that she sympathized with her
