Man killed in gang fight<\/p>\n
TANGERANG (JP): Police have one man in custody and are
\nsearching for three other suspects in the murder of 20-year-old
\nAsmawan, who died in a gang fight here on Monday night, an
\nofficer said.<\/p>\n
Tangerang District Police chief Lt. Col. Pudji Hartanto said
\non Wednesday his office identified the three suspects at large.<\/p>\n
"Ron, who is under police custody, provided us with the names
\nof the other three. They are wanted by the police for other
\ncrimes," Pudji said.<\/p>\n
A longstanding dispute involved youths from the Tanah Tinggi
\narea and neighboring Buaran Indah in Tangerang. Asmawan's death
\nled to an arson of a home of a Buaran Indah resident on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Asmawan, a resident of Tanah Tinggi, was found dead sitting in
\na narrow alley in Buaran Indah. Bruises were found on the back of
\nhis head and face.<\/p>\n
After his funeral on Tuesday, Asmawan's friends attacked the
\nBuaran Indah neighborhood, Pudji said.<\/p>\n
Disappointed by police efforts in the area, the mob then set
\nfire to the house of Mardi, 30, and fled, Pudji said.<\/p>\n
Head of Tangerang district, Anton Fatoni, said his office
\nwould invite the rival parties for a reconciliation.<\/p>\n
"We don't want such incidents to happen again," he said.<\/p>\n
Police are now safeguarding the two neighborhoods to avoid
\nfurther clashes between residents. (01)<\/p>",
