A man, identified only as SA, was robbed and threatened with murder\nby an unknown person at the Nusa Puri housing complex, Kutuh village,\nKuta Selatan sub-district, Badung. The robbery and threat occurred on\nWednesday (May 13th, 2026) at around 07:00 local time.<\/p>\n
SA was preparing to leave for work when the perpetrator arrived and\nthreatened to kill him and his family.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe suspect came and shouted, \u2018I will kill all three of you,\u2019\u201d said\nHead of Public Relations at the Denpasar Police, Iptu I Gede Adi Saputra\nJaya, on Friday (May 15th, 2026).<\/p>\n
SA tried to calm the perpetrator by saying, \u201cPlease calm down, be\npatient.\u201d However, the perpetrator broke into the bedroom and took SA\u2019s\nbag, which contained a wallet, mobile phone, charger, personal\nidentification, and approximately IDR 35,000 in cash.<\/p>\n
SA tried to hold onto the bag, but the perpetrator hit him on the\nhead about 10 times. Unable to fight back, SA shouted for help.<\/p>\n
Instead of stopping, the perpetrator became more violent. He picked\nup a stone in front of the house and tried to hit SA on the head.\nFortunately, SA managed to deflect the attack.<\/p>\n
The perpetrator then attacked SA again with a glass bottle. SA\nmanaged to deflect the attack again.<\/p>\n
SA slipped and fell. The perpetrator then punched SA four times,\nhitting the top and back of his head, causing lacerations.<\/p>\n
The victim finally managed to escape to the street to ask for help\nfrom local residents. Residents then helped to contact the police, while\nSA was taken to a community health center for medical treatment.<\/p>\n
As a result of the incident, SA suffered from dizziness, lacerations\non the back of his head requiring six stitches, bruising on his left\narm, and injuries to his little toe.<\/p>\n
\u201cCurrently, the case is being handled by the Criminal Investigation\nUnit of the Kuta Selatan Police, and the victim has filed a report. The\nperpetrator is still under investigation,\u201d said Agus.<\/p>\n
