Police have arrested three people in connection with the death of\nTriyanto (40), also known as Munil, whose body was found covered in\nwounds in Pringading, Guwosari, Pajangan, Bantul. The three individuals\nare suspected of carrying out an assault that led to the victim\u2019s\ndeath.<\/p>\n
\u2018The body found covered in wounds points towards an assault resulting\nin death,\u2019 said Bantul Police Criminal Investigation Unit Chief AKP\nSubihan Afuan Ardhi when contacted by journalists on Monday evening\n(24\/8\/2026).<\/p>\n
Subihan said police had conducted an investigation and had so far\nmanaged to detain several suspected perpetrators. The suspects were\napprehended in a series of arrests from Sunday night (23\/8) through to\nMonday.<\/p>\n
\u2018We have detained the suspected perpetrators, some last night and\nsome today. For now, the number of suspects in custody stands at three,\u2019\nhe said.<\/p>\n
Regarding the identities of the suspects, Subihan said he could not\nyet disclose them, as police are still conducting intensive examinations\nof the three individuals and investigating whether there are additional\nperpetrators.<\/p>\n
\u2018We are still looking into their respective roles,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
Subihan added that once all suspected perpetrators have been\napprehended, police will hold a press conference to disclose the\ncase.<\/p>\n
\u2018Once all suspects are in custody, we will hold a release,\u2019 he\nsaid.<\/p>\n
It was previously reported that a man was found dead inside a\nresident\u2019s home in the Pringading area of Guwosari, Pajangan, Bantul,\nwith his body covered in wounds. Police are investigating the cause of\ndeath, as the man had reportedly been drinking with his companions\nbeforehand.<\/p>\n
Bantul Police Public Relations Head Iptu Rita Hidayanto said police\ninitially received a report from residents about a person found dead\ninside a house on Sunday (23\/8) at 11.20 p.m. Western Indonesia Time.\nOfficers from Pajangan Police subsequently visited the location to\nconduct an initial examination.<\/p>\n
\u2018From the initial examination at the scene, the man was found lying\nflat with a number of wounds on his body,\u2019 she said when contacted by\njournalists on Monday (24\/8).<\/p>\n
Rita said the investigation identified the man as Triyanto (40), also\nknown as Munil, a resident of Ngestiharjo, Kasihan, Bantul. Upon\ndiscovering wounds on Munil\u2019s body, police contacted the Bantul Police\nCriminal Investigation Unit\u2019s Inafis team as well as medical staff from\nPajangan Community Health Centre to examine the victim\u2019s condition.<\/p>\n
The initial examination found a laceration on the back of Munil\u2019s\nbody. In addition, blood was still flowing from his ear, and there was\ndried blood residue around his nose.<\/p>\n
\u2018A lump wound was also found on the back left side of the head with a\ndiameter of approximately four centimetres.
