Man dies of slash wound<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): An allegedly drunk man died of a slash wound to
\nhis head after a quarrel with a ojek (motorcycle taxi) driver in
\nKota Bambu Selatan subdistrict in Palmerah, West Jakarta on
\nSaturday.<\/p>\n
The victim, Kholili, 35, was beating beduk (a drum used as
\ncalling instrument for Muslim prayers) at about 3:00 a.m., when
\nBachtiar, 20, an ojek driver was running his motorcycle with a
\nloud noise.<\/p>\n
Bachtiar said Kholili was allegedly drunk and very angry about
\nthe loud noise.<\/p>\n
\"He kicked my motorcycle, after which I just asked for an
\napology and then left the scene,\" said Bachtiar.<\/p>\n
Bachtiar then went to see his friends at the ojek pool, but
\nunfortunately Kholili followed him with a samurai sword and
\nlunged at his hand.<\/p>\n
\"We fought, but I managed to grab his samurai and slash his
\nhead,\" said Bachtiar, adding that Kholili was rushed to the
\nemergency room of the Pelni Hospital in Petamburan, West Jakarta,
\nwhere he died moments later.<\/p>\n
Budiman, who claimed to be a relative of the victim, said
\nKholili was a father of two children who collected and sold used
\nstuffs at Kota Bambu Selatan area. (07)<\/p>",
