        "content": "<p>Man burns in shackles<\/p>\n<p>GORONTALO, North Sulawesi: Twenty-six-year-old Ahmad Yahya<br>\ndied on Tuesday night after his hut, in which he had been kept in<br>\nshackles, caught fire.<\/p>\n<p>The farmer of Talulobuto village, Tapa district, was burned to<br>\ndeath not far from the house of his parents who put him in<br>\nshackles after he became mentally ill and violent since April.<\/p>\n<p>His wife and three children were not home during the fire,<br>\nwhich was thought to have been caused by a kerosene lamp.<\/p>\n<p>Yahya's mother, Maria Zein, heard the victim's screams and<br>\nwoke her husband, Idris, who tried to put the fire out but<br>\nfailed. Idris then had a fatal heart attack.<\/p>\n<p>Yahya's wife, Hapsa Akase, said she had gone to her parents'<br>\nhome because she could no longer tolerate Yahya's abusive<br>\nbehavior toward herself and her children.<\/p>\n<p>Police are still investigating the case.
