Jakarta — Ahmad Ronny Hasiholan, 44, the man who killed his second
wife, DH, 56, in Meruyung, Limo, Depok, has been designated as a suspect
and is being held at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters detention
facility.

Ahmad Ronny has been charged under Article 458 Paragraph 1 of the
Indonesian Criminal Code pertaining to murder.

“The suspect has been detained and faces a prison sentence of 15
years,” stated Kombes Pol Iman Imanudin, Director of General Criminal
Investigation at Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, on Wednesday, 11
March.

Iman explained that Ahmad killed his wife after the two engaged in a
quarrel in October 2025. The argument escalated when DH requested a
divorce from Ahmad.

“The suspect’s emotions erupted and got out of control, leading to
the commission of this murder,” Iman said.

After ensuring DH was dead, Ahmad left the house, taking the victim’s
mobile phone and motorcycle with him.

Previously, DH’s remains were found in her bedroom at her residence
in Meruyung, Limo, Depok, on Saturday morning, 7 March. The body was
discovered beneath a pile of clothing in a severely decomposed state,
with only skeletal remains. Coffee powder residue was found scattered
around the corpse.

“Following identification checks, coffee powder residue was found on
the victim’s body,” said Kompol Chairul Shaleh, Chief of Cinere Police
Sub-station, when reached on Monday, 9 March.

The discovery began when the victim’s son, identified as L, and his
girlfriend, R, visited to clean the victim’s house, which was in a
disorganised state. R initially intended to tidy the pile of clothing
that she had observed was scattered since February 2026.

“When R moved the carpet covering the pile of clothing, she saw a
pair of human feet with only bones visible and the skin in a desiccated
condition,” Chairul said.

During a visit the previous month, the witnesses found the gate of
DH’s house locked with a padlock, though the front door was
unlocked.

In February, L and R had seen the pile of clothing on the floor of
DH’s bedroom. However, they did not suspect anything unusual, as the
house’s general condition was also disorganised.

“The witnesses also did not detect any unusual smell from inside the
bedroom. Because the interior of the house appeared disorganised, L and
R postponed cleaning the interior area and only cleaned the surrounding
grounds,” Chairul stated.
",
