Man arrested for drug trafficking<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Police have arrested a man for allegedly selling
\n95 grams of the amphetamine-derivative shabu-shabu at Sunlight
\nHotel, Jl. Danau Sunter, North Jakarta, an officer said on
\nTuesday.<\/p>\n
City police spokesman Lt. Col. Edward Aritonang said the
\nsuspect, identified as Yanto, alias Aheng, was arrested at the
\nhotel on Monday night.<\/p>\n
"We also confiscated the drug from Aheng, who did not resist
\narrest," Aritonang said.<\/p>\n
He said Aheng, a resident of Jl. Kartini, Central Jakarta, was
\narrested when he tried to sell the drug to an undercover police
\nofficer in one of the hotel's rooms at 11 p.m.<\/p>\n
Police investigated the incident after receiving a tip-off
\nabout the dealer's activities, he said.<\/p>\n
Aritonang would not say what price Aheng quoted the officers
\nbut the drug is worth millions of rupiah on the black market.<\/p>\n
On Nov. 30, police arrested two other dealers in Central
\nJakarta and confiscated 100 grams of shabu-shabu worth Rp 35
\nmillion (US$4,666) from them. (jun)<\/p>",
