        "content": "<p>Ambon (ANTARA) - The Representative of the Republic of Indonesia\nOmbudsman for Maluku Province is conducting oversight of the 2026 Hajj\npilgrimage organisation to ensure services for pilgrims are transparent,\nin accordance with standards, and comfortable from the departure stage\nonwards.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Maluku Ombudsman Representative, Hasan Slamat, in\nAmbon on Saturday, emphasised that the Ombudsman\u2019s presence aims to\nensure all public service processes in the Hajj organisation run\naccording to established standards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis oversight focuses on the readiness of services organised by the\nMinistry of Hajj and Umrah RI, including the integrated service system\nwhich is key to the smooth departure process for pilgrims,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He stated this after conducting monitoring at the Hajj and Umrah\nIntegrated Service Centre (PLHUT) and the Ambon Hajj Dormitory.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed that public service standards are not merely formalities\nbut basic rights of the community that must be fulfilled by the\norganisers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFulfilling service standards is not just a formality, but a right of\nthe people that must be met. We want to ensure all processes run\ntransparently, clearly, and provide comfort for pilgrims,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He reminded of the importance of information openness, from service\nflows to requirements, which must be publicised through service rooms,\nofficial websites, and social media to make them easily accessible to\nprospective Hajj pilgrims.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the monitoring results, the Ombudsman appreciated the\nimplementation of the one-stop service system, which is deemed capable\nof simplifying the service process. This system covers final health\nchecks, verification of documents such as passports and visas,\ndistribution of identification bracelets and Nusuk cards, as well as\nliving cost distributions.<\/p>\n<p>These services involve various parties, from the Ministry of\nReligious Affairs, local government, airlines, Immigration, Customs,\nhealth officers, to the Quarantine Office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe implementation of one-stop services makes the departure process\nmore structured, efficient, and increases comfort for more than 500\npilgrims across Maluku,\u201d said Hasan.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Maluku Provincial Office of the Ministry of Hajj and\nUmrah, Djumadi Wali, assured that his side continues to optimise\nservices so that all stages of the Hajj organisation run according to\nprocedures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur side continues to strive to provide the best services by\nensuring all stages run according to the established procedures,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Through this oversight, the Ombudsman hopes that the quality of the\nHajj pilgrimage organisation will improve further and provide a sense of\nsecurity and service certainty for pilgrims.<\/p>\n<p>The Ombudsman also opens a complaints channel for the public if they\nfind suspected maladministration in the Hajj organisation process.<\/p>",
