        "content": "<p>Maluku councillors discuss election<\/p>\n<p>AMBON, Maluku: Fifteen councillors from Maluku, who are also<br>\nmembers of the gubernatorial election committee, are slated to<br>\nmeet home minister Hari Sabarno on Friday to discuss election<br>\nregulations.<\/p>\n<p>The committee's chairman Jhon Maioa said on Wednesday that the<br>\ncouncillors would also meet the ministry's regional autonomy<br>\ndirector general to consult technical problems in the election.<\/p>\n<p>The election should have been conducted last September but was<br>\ndelayed for around 10 months due to security reasons. The<br>\nprovince was under civil emergency at that time.<\/p>\n<p>Jhon said that the Maluku Legislative Council had not set a<br>\ndate for the election yet, but it would take place later this<br>\nyear. -- JP<\/p>",
