The statement did not\ndisclose details about the nature of the examinations or procedures\nbeing carried out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Prime Minister is currently undergoing examinations and\nprocedures as determined by his team of medical specialists,\u201d said his\nsenior press secretary Tunku Nashrul Abaidah.<\/p>\n<p>The government has also called on the public to pray that Anwar\u2019s\nmedical examinations and procedures proceed smoothly, and that he is\nblessed with good health.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe pray that all matters relating to the Prime Minister\u2019s\nexaminations and procedures are made easy and that he is always granted\ngood health so that he can return to his duties as usual in the near\nfuture, God willing,\u201d Tunku Nashrul added.<\/p>\n<p>Anwar Ibrahim turned 79 years old today.
