The\nroom cooling temperature is set at a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius,\u201d\nsaid Deputy Prime Minister Malaysia Fadillah Yusof in a special\nstatement broadcast on local television in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on\nThursday. Fadillah Yusof, who is also the Minister of Energy Transition\nand Water Transformation, conveyed that the Malaysian government urges\ncivil servants to wear clothing more suitable to the local climate, such\nas batik, corporate shirts, or baju Melayu, to reduce excessive\ndependence on room cooling. \u201cThis step reflects the government\u2019s\ncommitment to leading by example in the wise use of energy,\u201d he said.
