"summary": "Malaysia's government has mandated a work-from-home policy for ministries, agencies, statutory bodies, and government-linked companies starting 15 April to conserve fuel amid disruptions from the Middle East war affecting global supplies. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced a reduction in the subsidised fuel quota from 300 to 200 litres per month for eligible citizens, while unsubsidised prices will track global markets, as the country grapples with soaring crude prices and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Diplomatic efforts have secured exemptions for Malaysian tankers from potential Iranian tolls, highlighting the nation's reliance on stable energy imports and its proactive measures to mitigate the crisis.",
