        "content": "<p>A political communications analyst, M Jamiluddin Ritonga, has said\nthat Prabowo Subianto\u2019s first appearance in a plenary session to deliver\nthe Macro-Economic Framework (KEM) and the Core Policy of Fiscal Policy\n(PPKF) for the 2027 RAPBN was an effort to secure support from eight\nfactions in the Parliament. This is particularly important amid the\nrecent depreciation of the rupiah.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018President Prabowo Subianto wants to secure support from eight\nfactions in the DPR amid the rupiah\u2019s weakness,\u2019 Ritonga told reporters\non Thursday (21 May 2026).<\/p>\n<p>In addition to appealing to the public, he noted that Prabowo also\nseeks market confidence from his attendance at the DPR plenary\nsession.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018His presence in Senayan is also intended to show the public that his\neconomic policies enjoy full support from the DPR RI,\u2019 Ritonga said.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Demonstrating this support is also necessary so that the same will\nlater be supported by the public,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Therefore, Prabowo is presenting policies that are pro-people.
