        "content": "<p>West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police (Polda NTB) has assured safety and\ncomfort for Mudik travellers in 2026. A number of mosques in Lombok will\nbe utilised as resting places for travellers heading home for Mudik.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the West Nusa\nTenggara Regional Police (Polda NTB), Kombes Romadhoni Sutardjo, said\nservice posts along the road from Lembar Port to Kayangan will be built.\nHe described this as an effort to provide a sense of safety and comfort\nfor travellers.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018There will be rest stops at each destination, namely at the\nrespective ports. We will also establish service posts and security\nposts along the route,\u2019 Romadhoni explained at Kayangan Port on Thursday\n(5 March 2026).<\/p>\n<p>In addition, large mosques located along the roadside will be used as\nresting places for Mudik travellers. Romadhoni said these mosques will\nbe opened 24 hours and can be used by travellers to rest.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018This year, the Minister of Religious Affairs also stated that large\nmosques along the routes will be operated 24 hours to allow travellers\nto rest there,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<p>To alleviate congestion during Mudik, the Ministry of Transportation\nwill issue a circular to restrict the operation of large three-axle\ntrucks. According to Romadhoni, such large vehicles are a contributory\nfactor to road congestion.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018From the Ministry of Transportation, a circular will be issued to\nlimit the operations of three-axle vehicles. Those are usually the ones\nthat make the roads quite crowded. So there will be specific times for\nthem to travel on our routes,\u2019 he explained.<\/p>\n<p>He urged Mudik travellers to always comply with traffic regulations\nand to rest when fatigued.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The slogan launched by Korlantas Polri is \u201cmudik aman keluarga\nbahagia\u201d.
