        "content": "<p>The public is now increasingly facilitated as they no longer need to\nmanage administrative population documents separately. The government\nhas launched the Digitalisation of Birth Certificate Issuance through\nthe integration of the Hospital\/Community Health Centre Information\nSystem-SATUSEHAT-Population Administration Information System (SIAK) at\nthe Pasar Minggu Community Health Centre in Jakarta on Tuesday\n(11\/7\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Through this inter-system integration, birth certificates can be\nissued automatically and sent online moments after a baby is born at a\nhealthcare facility.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian explained that\ndigital birth certificates can now be received directly through the\nhealthcare facility where the birth takes place, whether a community\nhealth centre or a hospital. The document can also be sent via the\nparents\u2019 email or WhatsApp number to be printed independently, thereby\ncutting off illegal levies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs soon as the baby is born, the birth certificate is immediately\nissued because the systems are connected. At the community health\ncentre, for example, or the hospital, it is handed over directly on the\nspot. The digital version can be printed out immediately, and if the\nparents have an email, it can be sent to their email, or if they have\nWhatsApp, it can be sent to the parents\u2019 WhatsApp and they can print it\nthemselves,\u201d he explained, as quoted on Wednesday (12\/8\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin said that this data\nintegration will simplify the issuance of population documents for\nnewborn children. This is because around 4.8 million babies are born in\nIndonesia each year, or about 13,000 babies every day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTherefore, birth registration needs to be integrated so that the\nbaby\u2019s population documents can be issued more quickly,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow birth data can be directly integrated with the Dukcapil data or\nSIAK. So that when a mother gives birth, her birth certificate,\nincluding her family card, can be issued digitally immediately,\u201d he\nadded.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman of the Government Digital Transformation Acceleration\nCommittee (KPTDP) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan explained that data\nintegration and data-based planning are important for efficiency.\nAccording to him, the use of technology, including artificial\nintelligence (AI) to integrate data, makes the service process faster\nand more accurate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll the data speaks to each other, supported by AI, and AI cleanses\nall that data so it becomes integrated and the process becomes very\nfast,\u201d he explained.<\/p>",
