        "content": "<p>Beijing (ANTARA) - The Chairman of the National Economic Council\n(DEN), Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, has introduced government technology, or\n\u2018GovTech\u2019, to Chinese officials and Indonesian citizens in China.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We are currently preparing GovTech. Furthermore, we have AI\n(Artificial Intelligence) Research in Bali, involving several dozen\npeople, so we can also join forces with Chinese researchers regarding\nAI,\u2019 Luhut told ANTATION in Beijing on Friday (18\/9).<\/p>\n<p>Luhut is in China from 15-18 September to attend several meetings,\nincluding the China Economic and Social Forum 2026 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang\nProvince; meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi,\nSecretary-General of the National Committee of the Chinese People\u2019s\nPolitical Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Wang Dongfeng, and NDRC\nChairman Zheng Shanjie; as well as delivering a public lecture at\nTsinghua University.<\/p>\n<p>Luhut introduced GovTech while speaking with Chinese government\nofficials and students from Tsinghua University.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding GovTech, Luhut mentioned that everything will operate\nwithin a single ecosystem, which he believes will automatically lead to\nderegulation, as the system will dismantle existing bureaucratic\nhurdles. He expressed hope that a national roll-out will occur this\nOctober.<\/p>\n<p>Luhting stated that preparations for GovTech have reached 80 per\ncent, by unifying almost 27,000 applications scattered across various\nministries and local governments.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018This is not a new application, as it will simply integrate with\nDukcapil (Civil Registry) data, performing special recognition so that\nit can become a national movement for social protection,\u2019 Luhut\nadded.<\/p>\n<p>According to Luhut, Indonesia supports the use of AI that can provide\nbenefits to the wider community.<\/p>\n<p>\u2019I mentioned about six months ago that there must be a<\/p>",
