Jakarta (ANTARA) - The LSPR Institute of Communication and Business,\nin collaboration with the School of Business and Management at the\nBandung Institute of Technology (SBM ITB), has launched a programme\ndesigned to strengthen business leadership capabilities.<\/p>\n
This initiative is realised through the \u2018Mini MBA in Strategic\nCommunication and Business Leadership\u2019, which is designed to enhance a\nleader\u2019s ability to integrate business strategy and communication.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe needs of today\u2019s leaders are no longer compartmentalised. The\nsuccess of business strategy execution depends heavily on how\neffectively leaders can align actions with stakeholder expectations,\u201d\nsaid Prita Kemal Gani, Founder & CEO of LSBPR Institute, in East\nBekasi on Friday.<\/p>\n
According to Prita, this programme addresses leadership requirements\namidst technological changes, market dynamics, and increasingly complex\nstakeholder demands. LSPR Institute and SBM ITB believe that sound\nbusiness decisions do not necessarily guarantee success if they fail to\ngain support from employees, customers, investors, regulators, or the\npublic.<\/p>\n
LSPR Institute brings expertise in strategic communication, corporate\nreputation, crisis communication, and stakeholder management. This\ncollaboration allows for the design of strategies that possess not only\nfinancial value but also secure support from the broader business\necosystem.<\/p>\n
Prita explained that the \u2018Mini MBA\u2019 programme integrates four key\ncompetency areas: business strategy and decision-making, innovation and\nvalue creation, strategic communication and stakeholder engagement, and\nreputation, branding, and crisis communication. Through the combination\nof these four fields, participants are expected to view business issues\nmore holistically.<\/p>\n
\u201cFuture leaders are not enough to simply determine where a business\nshould go. They must also be able to make people believe why the\nbusiness must go there,\u201d said Prita.<\/p>\n
Participants are required not only to be able to read market\nconditions and identify business opportunities but also to understand\nthe impact of decisions on people, organisations, reputation, and\nstakeholder relationships. The programme targets senior managers, heads\nof business units, corporate communication leaders, public relations\nprofessionals, and aspiring leaders.<\/p>\n
\u201cBusiness and communication skills are becoming increasingly\ninseparable in facing today\u2019s leadership needs,\u201d said Yuliana Riana\nPrasetyawati, Head of the LSPR x SBM ITB Mini MBA Programme Team and\nDean of the LSPR Institute Faculty of Business.<\/p>\n
