The Jakarta LRT Velodrome\u2013Manggarai route is set to begin operations\nsoon. The 12.2 km route with 11 stations will cut the journey from\nKelapa Gading to Manggarai to 28 minutes.<\/p>\n
Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung, together with officials from the\nJakarta Provincial Government and the Presidential Palace protocol team,\ninspected the readiness of the Jakarta LRT Velodrome\u2013Manggarai route on\nMonday (24\/8\/2026). The inspection was carried out as part of the final\nchecks before the service is inaugurated and fully operational.<\/p>\n
In terms of construction, physical progress on the project has\nreached 98.20%. The construction of the track and elevated line has been\ndeclared 100% complete, while the remaining work consists of testing by\nthe Ministry of Transportation before the service becomes fully\noperational.<\/p>\n
Once inaugurated, the Jakarta LRT will serve the public every day\nfrom 05.00 to 24.00 WIB. The Jakarta Provincial Government has proposed\nthe inauguration for 26 August 2026, with the timing to be adjusted to\nPresident Prabowo Subianto\u2019s schedule.<\/p>\n
The fare for the Jakarta LRT Velodrome\u2013Manggarai route has been set\nat a flat rate of Rp5,000 until October 2026. This fare applies during\nthe transition period while the Jakarta Provincial Government and the\nJakarta Regional People\u2019s Representative Council (DPRD) prepare and\nestablish the official fare.<\/p>\n
The Velodrome\u2013Manggarai route will extend the Jakarta LRT line to\n12.2 kilometres with 11 stations. The presence of this route also cuts\ntravel time from Kelapa Gading to Manggarai to around 28 minutes.<\/p>\n
Manggarai LRT Station will also become an integration hub with\nTransjakarta, the KRL Commuter Line, and the Airport Rail Link. Direct\nintegration between the LRT and the Manggarai Station area is targeted\nto be operational by September 2026.<\/p>\n
With the connection of the Kelapa Gading to Manggarai route, the\nnumber of Jakarta LRT passengers in the initial phase is estimated to\nreach 60,000\u201380,000 people per day.
