Jakarta (ANTARA) - LRT Jabodezek has introduced Interactive Screens\nas a digital facility to make it easier for passengers to obtain various\ninformation while at the station. The facility was officially introduced\non Sunday (13\/9) at Ciracas Station, coinciding with the third\nanniversary of LRT Jabodebek serving the public.<\/p>\n
Through the Interactive Screens, users can access the latest travel\ninformation, including departure schedules and service updates. The\nfacility also integrates several pieces of information required by\npassengers into a single digital access point, ranging from interactive\nmaps to find facilities and routes, to information regarding activity\ncentres around the station.<\/p>\n
LRT Jabodebek\u2019s Public Relations Manager, Radhitya Mardika, stated\nthat the presence of this facility is part of the utilisation of\ntechnology to facilitate users in obtaining information while at the\nstation.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe introduction of Interactive Screens is part of LRT Jabodebek\u2019s\nefforts to provide an increasingly practical travel experience. Users\ncan obtain necessary travel information and facilities without having to\nsearch through multiple different channels,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The development of this service aligns with the growth in the number\nof LRT Jabodebek users. From 28 August to 31 December 2023, LRT\nJabodebek served 4,562,673 passengers. This number increased to\n21,055,870 users in 2024 and rose again to 28,816,787 users in 2025.\nMeanwhile, from January to 3ly August 2026, LRT Jabodebek has served\n21,809,797 passengers.<\/p>\n
In response to increasing public mobility needs, LRT Jabodebek has\nalso made service adjustments. Since 15 June 2026, LRT Jabodebek has\nincreased trip frequency during morning peak hours, adding a total of\n430 trips on weekdays. This adjustment was implemented following a trial\nperiod from 8\u201312 June 2026. Evaluation results showed two additional\ntrips towards Dukuh Atas BSI, specifically from Jati Mulya at 07:11 WIB\nand Harjamukti at 07:26 WIB.<\/p>\n
This series of developments demonstrates LRT Jabodebek\u2019s efforts to\nimprove services to meet public mobility needs, through both trip\nmanagement and the use of technology to provide information access to\nusers.<\/p>\n
The introduction of the Interactive Screens is also part of the\nanniversary celebrations titled \u201cThree Years of LRT Jabodebek Serving\nwith Heart\u201d. During the event, LRT Jabodebek invited 200 passengers who\nhave made LRT Jabodebek their primary choice for daily mobility.<\/p>\n
Three passengers with the highest travel frequency received\nappreciation in the form of awards, souvenirs, and electronic money card\ntop-ups. In addition to passengers, LRT Jabodebek also recognised three\ntenant partners who support user needs within the station areas.<\/p>\n
LRT Jabodebek also expressed its appreciation to the Directorate\nGeneral of Railways (DJKA), as well as the Provincial Governments of\nJakarta and West Java, for their support and collaboration in enhancing\nLRT Jabodebek services as part of the public transport ecosystem in the\nJabodebek area.<\/p>\n
The event series also included the announcement of three winners of a\nphotography competition themed \u201cVisual Exploration of LRT Jabodebek:\nAesthetic and Educative, Smart Transportation, Limitless Mobility\u201d,\nwhich captured various activities and experiences of the public using\nLRT Jabodebek.<\/p>\n
