A total of 3,031 teachers have officially attained professional\nstatus following their inauguration by the LPTK Faculty of Tarbiyah and\nTeacher Training (FITK) at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. These\neducators, who graduated from the 2025 Batch 4 In-Service PPG programme,\nare prepared to implement new pedagogical approaches in their respective\nregions.<\/p>\n
This step is part of the university\u2019s consistent efforts to\nstrengthen national education standards and quality sustainably. The\ninauguration ceremony was held on Saturday, 30 May 2026, using a hybrid\nformat to reach all participants. The enthusiasm for the graduation was\nevident, with 490 participants attending in person in Yogyakarta, while\n2,541 others joined the procession online from various regions across\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n
The educators inaugurated this time include teachers from madrasahs\nas well as Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers serving in public\nschools. Before reaching this final stage, they completed a rigorous and\nchallenging series of professional education modules. The peak of the inauguration ceremony was led by the Rector of UIN\nSunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Prof.\u00a0Noorhaidi Hasan, S.Ag., M.A., M.Phil.,\nPh.D.\u00a0While reading the official inauguration script, the Rector\nexpressed great hope that the latest graduates would fulfil their new\nroles as professional teachers by adhering strictly to the Indonesian\nteacher\u2019s code of ethics.<\/p>\n

During the same event, the Dean of FITK UIN Sunan Kalijaga\nYogyakarta, Prof.\u00a0Dr.\u00a0Sigit Purnama, M.Pd., provided a comprehensive\nreport on the programme.
