        "content": "<p>Gresik, VIVA \u2013 The Special Mission Vehicle (SMV) under the Ministry\nof Finance, Lembaga Pembiayaan Ekspor Indonesia (LPEI) or Indonesia\nEximbank, continues to drive national export growth through the Special\nExport Assignment Programme (PKE) Trade Finance. Of the total funds\nallocated by the government amounting to Rp13.7 trillion until the end\nof 2025, East Java has absorbed up to 25 percent.<\/p>\n<p>LPEI\u2019s Business Implementation Director II, Sulaeman, stated that\nthis relaxation programme is a special government mandate to strengthen\nnational export competitiveness in various strategic sectors. Debtors\nare entitled to funding with a financing limit of Rp3.35 trillion, and\nto date, the disbursement realisation has reached Rp7.68 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe report that there are currently 61 entrepreneurs in East Java\nutilising PKE. A quarter of the PKE is channelled in East Java, with the\nvalue disbursed so far reaching around Rp9 trillion because it\nrevolves\u2014drawn, then settled and repaid,\u201d Sulaeman explained during a\nmedia briefing at the PT Mega Global Food Industri factory (Kokola\nGroup) in Gresik on Friday, 17 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>He detailed that the processed food sector is the largest contributor\nto PKE Trade Finance, with a 39 percent share or 31 debtors. Overall,\nthe programme has contributed to creating foreign exchange of more than\nRp37.06 trillion during 2025.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to financing, LPEI is expanding support through guarantee\nand insurance schemes to provide protection for export business actors.\nThis scheme includes project guarantees such as bank guarantees up to\ntrade credit insurance to anticipate the risk of non-payment in export\ntransactions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBesides financing, there are also guarantees and insurance that can\nbe utilised through the PKE programme. So, the hope is that we truly\nprovide end-to-end support,\u201d Sulaeman added.<\/p>\n<p>The PKE programme currently covers 18 industrial sectors, ranging\nfrom rubber products, coffee, furniture, footwear, processed food,\ntextiles, to electronic products and automotive components. The\nimplementation of this financing facility is based on Ministry of\nFinance Decree (KMK) Number 50 of 2025 to support the export of\nIndonesia\u2019s leading products and commodities.<\/p>\n<p>In response, East Java Deputy Governor Emil Elistiantio Dardak\nappreciated the central government\u2019s support through LPEI in promoting\nregional exports. As a result, East Java\u2019s economic growth reached\naround 5.33 percent in 2025, or above the national average.<\/p>",
