        "content": "<p>The credit union movement is considered to have a strategic position\nto become the driving force for strengthening the national cooperative\necosystem, including supporting the success of the Koperasi\nDesa\/Kelurahan Merah Putih programme currently being developed by the\ngovernment. Therefore, credit unions are encouraged not only to focus on\nasset and business growth, but also to take a greater role in\nstrengthening governance, member education, and community economic\nempowerment. This message was delivered by the President Director of the\nRevolving Fund Management Agency (LPDB) for Cooperatives, Krisdianto,\nwhile opening the 2025 Financial Year Annual Members\u2019 Meeting (RAT) of\nthe National Federation of Credit Unions (INKOPDIT) in Labuan Bajo, East\nNusa Tenggara. The event, themed \u2018Re-Ideologisation, Transformation, and\nResilience of the Indonesian Credit Union Movement Towards 2070\u2019, was\nattended by around 500 participants consisting of board members,\nsupervisors, management, and delegates from 34 Credit Union Centres\n(Puskopdit) from across Indonesia. In addition to the RAT, the event was\nalso coupled with an Open Forum, National Seminar, Educational Tour,\nMember Business Product Exhibition, and Cultural Festival. Representing\nthe Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono, Krisdianto expressed high\nappreciation to the Indonesian credit union movement, which for decades\nhas been one of the important pillars of strengthening the people\u2019s\neconomy. According to him, credit unions have proven capable of building\nmember independence through a healthy and sustainable mutual-aid based\nfinancial system. \u2018The Minister of Cooperatives actually very much\nwanted to be present with all Indonesian credit union members. He even\nspecifically conveyed his commitment to continue supporting the\ndevelopment of the credit union movement, which has so far shown a real\ncontribution to the community\u2019s economic development,\u2019 said Krisdianto.\nHe revealed that the Minister of Cooperatives has a very positive\nimpression of the development of cooperatives in East Nusa Tenggara.\nBased on various working visits conducted, NTT is considered one of the\nprovinces with the best cooperative development in Indonesia.<\/p>",
